Yes. A private channel with the organiser only is set up, and staff are briefed on exactly what surprise means before anyone arrives at the riad.
If you are planning a proposal, start privately rather than sending a standard booking request so we can coordinate timing, florals, or photography without anything appearing in shared correspondence.
Is this journey welcoming to all couples?
All couples are welcomed and celebrated without exception. This is not a marketing line on our side; it is how riads and teams are chosen for this journey.
Our riads and hosts are personally vetted for genuine warmth. If you have specific concerns, raise them on the planning call and we will address them honestly.
Is the balloon flight private?
The flight included in this journey is a shared basket with breakfast after landing, which keeps the overall price accessible while still delivering the sunrise experience.
A private basket is available as an upgrade and quoted on request, as are a photographer and florals for special occasions.
What happens on the open day?
Nothing has to happen. The third day is left deliberately open, and the terrace is a legitimate way to spend all of it if that is what you want.
If you would rather fill it, the two most popular choices are a couples hammam ritual and wandering the souks at your own pace with optional guide support.
Which meals are included?
Daily breakfast is included throughout. Dinner is included on day two (reserved table) and day three (private chef rooftop).
Lunches are generally not included, giving you flexibility to explore medina restaurants or stay on the terrace.
What standard of riad is included?
Three nights in a premium four-star traditional riad with private terrace options are included in the quoted price.
Specific property choice depends on availability and your preferences discussed on the planning call. Photographs and room descriptions are shared before anything is booked.
Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not included and is required for international travel to Morocco.
Your policy should cover medical costs, cancellation, and travel disruption for a four-day city and activity itinerary including a balloon flight.
Can we upgrade the balloon experience?
Yes. Private basket flights, photographers, and florals are all available as upgrades quoted separately once your dates are confirmed.
Mention any upgrade wishes early so availability can be checked with the balloon operator before your travel dates are fixed.
How private is the journey?
The journey is built for two guests with private transfers and a riad stay rather than a shared group tour format.
Medina time can be guided or independent depending on what you want from each day. The planning call is where that balance is set.
